Tasting notes
The 2014 Fugue de Nenin offers light red cherry, strawberry pastilles and bergamot scents on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannin, simple dark berry fruit laced with white pepper, leading to an easygoing and lithe, but well-defined finish. Enjoy this Deuxième Vin over the next four or five years.

The 2014 Fugue de Nenin is a soft, fruity wine to drink now and over the next few years, while the flavors remain vibrant. Crushed flowers, smoke and sweet spices lead into the juicy, inviting finish.
The 2014 Fugue de Nenin is an attractive red best suited to near-term drinking. Crushed flowers and sweet red berries waft from the glass in and aromatic, feminine wine. The open-knit, fleshy finish is especially inviting. The blend is 82% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Franc. Tasted two times.
95% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, because most of the very good Cabernet Franc went into the grand vin. Light and sweet with an undertow of coffee grounds. Really quite 'Lite' in structure. Dryish. (JR)
