Tasting notes
RS 16 g/l. Deep coppery colour. Refreshing nose with strong faded rose petal notes. A tad low in acidity but the bitterness compensates. This seems to have been made by someone with a clear vision. Could only be Alsace, with a vibrant undertow. (JR)

The 2011 Gewurztraminer Cuvée des Seigneurs Ribeaupierre is deep and smoky on the nose, rich, concentrated, ripe and exciting, with lots of citrus flavors. Full-bodied, rich, intense and tension-filled on the palate, this is a complex and mineral Gewurz that is a fresh, precise, salty, fresh and lovely tannic wine with a long and complex finish. A great Gewurz, indeed.
