Tasting notes
Just 14 Bordeaux estates were classified as 'cru bourgeois exceptionnel' in 2020, and Château de Malleret was one of them. This is a full and ripe Cabernet-heavy blend. Some development and concentration here with both ripeness and the impression of tannins just faded into the background. Infinitely more convincing than the Begadanet 2015. GV (JR)

This finely made, juicy, blackcurrant-flavored wine comes from a relatively large estate in the Médoc. Their 2012 has good purity, medium body, and attractive black and red currant fruit. Some notes of underbrush, spice and smoke are also noticeable. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.
