More sweet, voluptuous and rounded (especially when compared to the fresh, lively 2013), the 2012 Bandol La Migoua offers lots of spice and garrigue intermixed with olive tapenade, peppery and sweet dark fruits. Medium to full-bodied, layered and nicely concentrated, it’s another 2012 that has the texture and fruit to offer tons of pleasure today, yet the balance and concentration to evolve for another decade.

Deep crimson with a shocking pink rim. Lifted, vivacious nose. Lighter weight than the other cuvées but very charming. Racy with fine tannins fast fading. Redcurrant fruit. (JR)
