Tasted blind at the annual “Burgfest” tasting in Bouilland. The 2013 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot has a very composed bouquet with citrus fruit, a hint of licorice, rosemary and mineral -- an absolutely gorgeous bouquet. The palate is very well balanced with impressive fruit concentration. There is just a touch of viscosity and it feels harmonious in the mouth with a powerful, lightly honeyed finish that seems to caress. Bon vin! Tasted May 2016. Nov 2016, www.robertparker.com
