Pale, bright yellow. Explosive, rather wild nose offers leesy aromas of nectarine, ripe peach, white flowers, hazelnut and nut oil. Very ripe and plush in the mouth, communicating an impression of surmaturité to the saline stone fruit flavors. Firms up nicely on the salty, tactile, very long finish, which comes across as very ripe but dry and shows a surprisingly light touch. This wine is carrying 4.5 g/l acidity, from a yield just under 30 hectoliters per hectare.

(malo done and sulfited; 13.5% alcohol without chaptalization; picked at the beginning in 2012, along with the Meursault Boucheres): Bright yellow. Fleshy ripe peach on the classic sexy Puligny nose, complicated by acacia flower and gingery spices. A fat, sweet peach bomb on the palate; plush and fine-grained, offering terrific breadth without undue weight. Tactile, dusty and very concentrated, finishing peachy and long, with a youthful firm edge.
