The 2013 Meursault Les Tessons, which comes from the south part of the vineyard, said to be more precocious than the northern part, has a slightly subdued nose at first with cooking apple and pithy nectarine scents that need just a little mode definition. The palate is much better with admirable tension and vitality, a hint of sour lemon becoming more prominent toward the composed finish. It is just the aromatics that need to find their feet by the time of bottling. Dec 2014, www.robertparker.com
