Score 94/100 · Drink 2016-2033, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Oct 2015

Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2012 tasting in Beaune. The 2012 Meursault 1er Cru Charmes (Cork bottling) from Coche-Bizouard closed under cork has a delicate nose with cold stone (flint) and dried petals scents that gently unfold from the glass. The palate is very well balanced with a taut line of acidity, sorbet-fresh in the mouth, tensile and animated all the way to the satisfying finish. This is a top-flight Les Charmes that will delight over many years.
