Tasting notes
(vinified with 40% whole clusters and aged in 30% new oak): Bright, full red. Aromas of redcurrant and flowers come across as quite spicy and peppery following my tasting of the 2014s here. At once supple and juicy in the mouth, displaying very good energy but a slight tartness to the red berry and spice flavors. Precise wine with good inner-mouth tension but a faint edge of acidity on the persistent back end.

Mid crimson. Deep, ripe red fruit with a dusting of spice. Generous, velvety and caressing with really good freshness as well. Satisfying depth and well-rounded tannins already. (JH)
Dark red with ruby highlights. Very good floral lift to the aromas of cherry, raspberry and licorice. Fresh and brisk but pliant on the palate, with an easygoing sweetness to the flavors of dark berries and flowers. This should drink well young.
