Score 93/100 · Drink 2016-2029, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Nov 2016

Tasted blind at the annual “Burgfest” tasting in Bouilland. The 2013 Meursault 1er Cru les Perrières was showing a faint reduction on the nose, but underneath there is a fine Perrieres here, sea spray and hazelnut notes beginning to surface as it opens in the glass. The palate is very well balanced with crisp acidity, fine tension here with citrus lemon, a touch of Cornice pear and plenty of salinity on the finish that shows real concentration. This is another superb Meursault Perrieres from the relatively unknown Ballot-Millot. Tasted May 2016.
