Pale yellow. Much fresher on the nose than the Preuses, with ripe peach and powdered stone aromas complemented by spicy, vanillin oak; not exotic but still more Côte d'Or than Chablis in style. Fresh peach, lemon oil and mineral flavors are far more classic than those of the Preuses. Finishes dusty and a bit dry, in need of a couple years of patience.

Very tight indeed at this point. Rich and long but hard to read. Certainly grand. (AH)
