Tasting notes
Full bottle 1,313 g. Mid garnet – quite a youthful colour for an 11-year-old red burgundy. Intense, sweet fruit with some strawberry notes and some autumn undergrowth. Vigorous but probably already at peak or nearing it. (JR)

Full bottle 1,309 g. Transparent ruby-garnet. Pure and fresh with an undertow of integrity. No great hurry to drink this delicacy with Vosne energy and pure Pinot fruit. (JR)
Full bottle a modest 1,285 g. Transparent ruby. Pure and fresh. This wine does not put a foot wrong. Neat and precise. Redcurrant fruit which opens out like a peacock's tail on the finish. Pure pleasure. (JR)
6.37 acres (2.58 ha). Planted 1961-1971, 1,290 cases. Their biggest production, representing a third, from 15 different parcels. Too small to offer individually. One third in the north, one third in the south, and one third in the middle so this is truly representative. Lovely pure fruit just slightly reduced for now. Gorgeous! What more could you want? I don't often write 'beautiful' but this is. Long and fine. (JR)
