Medium red. Wild, deep, still-reduced aromas of strawberry, mocha, roasted herbs and subtle underbrush; smells creamy! Like liquid silk in the mouth, boasting outstanding concentration and thickness yet a feeling of weightlessness. The strawberry and earth notes continue on the palate. A very pure expression of soil with a restrained sweetness but a wonderfully rich, layered mouth feel. "For the intellectuals of Paris," says Laurent, adding that his source is in the center of the appellation. And the hedonists as well.
