Score 88/100 · Drink 2015-2022, Mark Squires, Dec 2015

The 2010 Tinto is and old vines field blend aged three months in tank and 18 months in used French oak barrels. It is fuller in the mouth than its sibling, the 2009 also reviewed. That might be because the old vines component that would normally wind up in other bottlings was declassified this year and partly used here. Very nice, with good balance between acidity, concentration and structure, this is just a bit mouth puckering on the finish, but it is easily approachable now.
