(the 2008 premier crus were bottled in March and April of 2010, the grand crus at the beginning of May) Bright pale yellow. Expressive aromas of lemon, menthol and crushed stone. Juicy and spicy, with excellent cut to the pure citrus and menthol flavors. I find this a bit youthfully aggressive, like the 2009.

(Girardin owns a full hectare of vines here, half of them 50 years old and half 20 years) Spiced apple, stone and menthol on the nose. Intensely flavored, vibrant and mineral-driven, with terrific mineral cut giving grip to the long aftertaste. This has near-grand cru intensity, and lovely back-end lift.
