Tasting notes
Offers a gorgeous caressing feel at first, with velvety raspberry and plum fruit, then picks up a light briar echo and a fine pebbly feel through the finish, adding range and length. The latent grip is supple and fully embedded, while an alluring incense note weaves throughout. A thoroughly beguiling wine. Tasted non-blind.—J.M. Wine Spectator, April 2015.

A wine evincing true enlightenment. It’s floral on the nose and also shows blackberries, stones, minerals and cedar. Full-bodied, yet its so fine-grained and tight. So, so long. It builds like a waterfall on the finish. The tannins are powerful yet superbly integrated and harmonious. Needs four to five years in bottle. Drink in 2023. Feb 2017, www.jamessuckling.com
