Score 90/100 · Drink 2025, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2025

The 1967 Barolo Bricco Boschis is the first vineyard-designate Barolo from the Cavallotto family. At nearly 60 years of age, the 1967 is fully mature. Tasting it is mostly interesting from a cultural and historical perspective. Dried flowers, sweet dried fruit and spice are all signatures of a wine that has begun to fade. At this point, its aging comes down to storage and a little luck with corks more than anything else.
