Score 92/100 · Drink 2012-2027, Robert Parker, Feb 2012
The 2009 Clos du Jaugueyron Margaux is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, but the production is tiny, as they have virtually no land in the Margaux appellation. I will keep my notes short, but this wine is outstanding, with lots of violets interwoven with blueberry, raspberry and black currant fruit that is lush, succulent and full-bodied. Drink it over the next 10-15 years. Two small boutique wines from this estate in Arsac in southern Graves.
