Score 90/100 · Drink 2017-2022, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Dec 2015

Aged for 16 months in small barrels and bottled unfiltered, the 2011 Spätburgunder Rechtenbacher displays clear, deep and ripe cherry and dark berry aromas with some floral notes. Full-bodied, quite rich and powerful, this is a quite sweet and creamy textured, well structured Pinot with an intense aftertaste. The tannins are ripe but present, and still somewhat dry.
