Tasting notes
A white-golden color followed by a very clear, pure, nicely matured, and quite complex bouquet with stewed apple and cinnamon aromas along with a dash of lemon juice on the nose of the 2012 Riesling Herrenweg de Turckheim (Lot 144) perform an excellent overture to an elegant, balanced, medium to full-bodied, mineral and fruity wine, with a long and salty finish. There is no need to wait to enjoy this Riesling with lunch, although there is no need to hurry up as well. The wine has grip, structure, and length and a stimulating citrus flavor in the aftertaste.
