Tasting notes
The 2012 Chambolle Musigny les Fremières has more fruit intensity on the nose compared to the Sentiers, with dark plum and strawberry aromas tinged with glycerin. The palate is medium-bodied with good density in the mouth. The tannins are soft and plush although it just needs a little more precision on the finish.

Sweet oak, crunchy cranberry fruit – really enticing and svelte. Spicy and just slightly musty on the finish, but the freshness is intact – lovely, lively and bright. (RH)
Bright, dark red. Red cherry, raspberry, spices and a stony nuance on the nose. Juicy red berry flavors are a bit tight today but show healthy balancing acidity and good firm-edged precision. Finishes with dusty tannins, good length and lift, and a hint of salty minerality.
