Tasting notes
The 2012 Riesling Clos Windsbuhl opens with a clear and matured bouquet of ripe fruits, crushed stones and caramel. Full-bodied, round and elegant, the 2012 already shows good ripeness combined with grip and a certain sweetness. July was very wet but the end of August and September were very dry and hot. That might be the reason why the wine is well structured but also lacks a bit of freshness and vitality.
