Tasting notes
From Baptiste Guinaudeau, the proprietor of Pomerol’s Chateau Lafleur, this blend of 64% Sauvignon Blanc and 36% Semillon (from a 5.5-acre vineyard) displays lots of honeyed grapefruit, light to medium body and fine intensity. Drink it over the next 2-3 years. Guinaudeau also made a 100% Sauvignon Blanc cuvee that was terrific, but there is so little of it that it will probably only be sold at the estate.
