2010 Vouvray Moelleux

The golden-yellow colored 2010 Vouvray Moelleux is a lovely Chenin offering a coolish and slightly spicy bouquet with fine honey notes and ultra ripe aromas of quinces, apples and peaches on the nose. Quite sweet but also piquant and nervous on the palate, this medium to full-bodied, aromatic and powerful wine is very elegant and well balanced and finishes with stimulating freshness and salinity. It should be served with Indian chutneys or cheese.
