Tasting notes
La Morra. Quite deep ruby. Fruit seems a little covered by the oak. Lots of concentration here at the cost of finesse, but certainly has ageing capacity. (WS)

Dark red cherries, mocha, licorice, new leather and menthol flesh out in the 2010 Barolo Arborina. Renato Corino has done a fabulous job taming the slightly angular tannins that are typical of the site. Mint, pine and savory herbs all add an attractive aromatic register on the finish. The 2010 is dark, rich, mysterious and totally seductive. Rarely has a young Corino Barolo been so translucent yet deep.
Good deep, bright red. Slightly reduced aromas of strawberry, redcurrant, earth and mint, with a faint leathery rusticity. Broad and sweet but tightly wound, not yet showing the lift of the normale owing to the reduction. Finishes with big ripe tannins and good juicy length.
