2013 Kiedricher Turmberg Beerenauslese

When words are missing the wine is obviously too big. The golden-yellow 2013 Kiedricher Turmberg Riesling Beerenauslese left me struggling for words. I could have spent several hours with it (as with all the high-carat predicates of this estate) just to follow its opening that started very intense on the nose indicating aromas of white English wine gum and ginger. Very rich, sweet, intense and concentrated on the palate as well as piquant and highly precise and extremely long it is not made for our generation and maybe also not for the next one. It should better be describe and scored in 30 or 40 years at the earliest. With the highest respect I can say this is an undrinkable wine for all those whose hedonism fears the divine.
