Reticent nose hints at apricot and clove. Much tighter and less obviously sweet than the Perrieres and Folatieres, in a distinctly stony style. This is comparatively tough today and extremely unevolved, in need of a decade of patience. Incidentally, all of these 2004s except for the Saint-Aubin were bottled in March of this year, and Colin decanted them an hour before serving them.
