Score 93-96/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
(still with a bit of unconverted malic acidity) Superripe aromas of exotic yellow fruits and blond tobacco, with a suggestion of roasted fruit. Massive and hugely concentrated yet amazingly fresh, thanks to strong, ripe acidity. A rock-solid, superripe wine with great persistence. Should be a monument of the vintage.
