Tasting Notes
Good smooth fruit, lively vigour and some depth, just a little hollow in the middle for a Second Growth. Drink 2015-2022. Decanter.com

Medium-weight, with a plump core of cassis and black cherry framed by dusty but persistent tannins. Hint of bittersweet cocoa on the finish leaves a drying feel though. James Molesworth, WineSpectator.com
I have never been a fan of this estate, and their 2011 is certainly above average in quality, but it falls short of being exciting. The wine exhibits a dark ruby/plum color, spicy, earthy, red and black currant fruit notes and rustic tannins. It is generally well-made, if uninspiring. Give it 2-4 years of bottle age and drink it over the following 12-15 years. Apr 2014, www.robertparker.com
About the producer

The Quié family purchased Pauillac Fifth Growth Ch. Croizet-Bages in 1942, adding Rauzan-Gassies four years later. Once part of the same estate as the neighbouring Rauzan-Ségla, this Margaux property was split off in time for the 1855 Classification, earning Second Growth status.
