2007 Nuits St Georges Les Argillas

Despite being situated in the so-called section Vosnoise, this is actually more obviously Nuits in character than is the Perrières with an intensely earthy if mildly spicy and ripe red berry fruit aromas that are dense and somewhat somber and this restrained personality continues with the serious but complex, intense and tautly muscled flavors that possess slightly rustic tannins but there is ample depth, length and overall character.
