Tasting notes
Medium red. Reduced aromas of musky strawberry, raspberry, tobacco, crushed stone and smoky minerality. Juicy, savory red berry and earth flavors show a sappy quality and restrained sweetness, with harmonious acidity contributing to the impression of vinosity. Finishes with a light dusting of tannins and mint and herb nuances.

The2010 Vougeot Les Petits Vougeots shows good length and persistence, but it, too, comes as a touch angular and compact.
Light and fruity. Easy and a bit overblown. Could do with more freshness. (JR)
(the yield was down 25% owing to the frost; these vines are now 25 years old): Bright medium red. Expressive nose offers flowers, spices and a hint of leather. Nicely supple and ripe for this cuvee , with sweet, building tannins that turned a bit dry with time in the glass. But a bit more concentrated and ripe than the village offerings. There's something Chambolle-like about this.
