This is quite shy now and still showing dark plums, blackberry crumble and baking spices. Full body, some really nice density, round tannins and a medium long finish. Drink now.

Lots of Cabernet-like aromas here. One of the more austere. But seems to be because of the fruit rather than because of the winemaking. Relatively lightweight. (JR)

Score 88-90/100 · Drink 2010-2025, Robert Parker, Apr 2010
The finest wine made here since the 1982, the 2009 possesses classic notes of melted licorice, roasted herbs, black currants, and cherries in its medium to full-bodied, pure, seriously endowed personality. The tannins are substantial, but silky and well-integrated, and the wine is long and authoritative. Drink it over the next 10-15 years. (Tasted once.)
