Oily peach aroma. Steely and firm in the mouth, with classic Puligny flavors of peach and minerals. Very nicely balanced village wine.

Cuvee #1, from vines on the Meursault side: Peach and spices on the slightly exotic nose. Rich, sweet and peachy, with a touch of minerality giving firmness to this slightly aggressive sample. Cuvee #2, also from vines on the Meursault side but lower on the slope: Less fruity and more musky on the nose, with hazelnut and floral elements. Fatter and sweeter, with an exotic side to the peach, nectarine and nutty flavors. Cuvee #3, the portion in new oak: Smoke, nuts and a menthol note on the nose. Denser and deeper, with an enticing floral component. This boasts more energy as well as early personality, as the malo finished in February. Fat with fruit but gripping on the back.
