Sexy aromas of peach, smoke, clove, mint and menthol. Round, rich and pure, with a firm mineral edge to the stone and citrus fruit flavors. Offers a lovely combination of fat and minerality, not to mention noteworthy freshness for the year. An impressive wine.

Cuvee #1, from the Chassagne side: Expressive aromas of peach, minerals and truffle. Supple, ripe and peachy, with lovely purity of flavor and vivacity. A juicy, floral sample, with an enticing sweetness. Cuvee #2, from the Meursault side (more recent malo): Peach, orange and spicy oak on the nose. More obviously sweet and ripe, with fruit-driven flavors of orange and peach. Suppler and rounder than the previous sample.
