Lime-infused pears make up the aromatic profile of the 2001 Riesling Kabinett Brauneberger Juffer. A spicy, light to medium-bodied wine, it is the least expressive of Richter's three 2001 Kabinetts yet reveals excellent depth, purity, and formidable nobility. Its highly detailed minerality dominates the palate as well as its admirably long finish. Projected maturity: 2003-2009. This is a superb value. Dec 2002, www.robertparker.com
