Tasting notes
Fresh nose which is both a little bit grassy and lightly tropical, ripe lemon. The palate is very nicely balanced with sweetness in complete harmony along side the acidity giving a long clean finish. There is also complexity of flavour with notes of tropical fruits (watermelon) and something else more complex, difficult to put my finger on...

The 2010 La Tour Blanche has a vivacious bouquet with aromas of yellow plum, fig, blood orange and a very subtle oily/lanolin scent. The palate is well balanced with a viscous entry and notes of orange rind, apricot, stem ginger and a touch of white pepper. This feels long, tender and cohesive, with fine depth. The 2010 surpasses subsequent vintages such as the 2011 to 2013. It is excellent.
The 2010 La Tour Blanche is well endowed on the nose with scents of acacia honey, yellow plum and orange rind, just a touch of saffron emerging with time (a leitmotif of this vintage.) The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity. This feels spicier than its peers, finely tuned towards the finish with a touch of ginger on the aftertaste. Excellent. Tasted blind at Farr Vintners 10-Year On Bordeaux horizontal.
