Tasted blind. Dark transparent crimson. Sweet, dusty nose. Pretty dry on the end. Not charming yet with a bit of alcohol on the end. Salty. (JR)

Deep, opaque crimson. Creamy, dark fruit and black olive nose. Quite a bit of power and concentration on the nose and palate, but it does strike a nice balance. Just a tiny bit too creamy on the finish from the new oak. (WS)

Eucalyptus-scented nose with creamy notes. There is sappy acidity but this is so creamy it has robbed the edge from the fruit. (WS)

Oaked Syrah. In fact more oak than Syrah alas. Very sweet. And polished. But is does seem so much more winemaking than vine growing! Harsh tarted-up finish. (JR)
