Tasting Notes
Don't Miss! - Soft wood influence does not materially diminish the lightly spiced and beautifully fresh nose that is composed of red berry fruit, stone hints and earth nuances. The remarkably rich, round and concentrated flavors exude a focused power while coating the palate with impressive reserves of dry extract that also buffer the very firm tannins. This should be excellent in time as there is outstanding intensity yet impeccable balance and length. Drink from 2025+

(two new barrels out of three made, from a crop level of 24 hectoliters per hectare): Red-ruby. Pure but subdued aromas of dark berries, medicinal herbs, licorice, black pepper and tar. Dense on entry, then seamless and concentrated in the middle, with a cherry clafouti flavor lifted by a peppery element. Conveys a powerful, saline impression of extract but there's nothing dry about this wine. At once thick and lively, finishing with noble tannins and outstanding unfolding complexity and length. A powerful expression of soil.
