Good full red. Bitter cherry and fresh herbs on the nose; comes across as fresher than the Amoureuses today. Rich and sweet, with lovely inner-palate energy giving cut and definition to the middle palate. This seems almost austere compared to the Amoureuses, which is not at all a bad thing: I find more Chambolle high notes here than in the last sample. Finishes subtle, long and rather backward with fine tannins.
