Deep, bright red. Perfumed aromas of cherry and rose petal. Juicy, floral and fine, with the perfumed character carrying through in the mouth. A rather delicately styled, precise but penetrating wine that's ultimately quite pliant, even if it merits four or five years of cellaring.

Bright medium ruby. Reduced, gamey aromas of black raspberry, bitter chocolate and roast coffee. Lush and smooth, with a restrained sweetness and good sappy lift. Seamless and elegant. Finishes with excellent length and chewy but ripe tannins.
