Score 91/100 · Drink 1990-2026, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Feb 2022
The 1970 Chasse-Spleen is a real success, unwinding in the decanter and glass with aromas of sweet currant fruit, cigar box and loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and impressively muscular, with powdery but largely melted tannins and lively acids, it surpasses many classified growths in this vintage.

Chasse Spleen
If there’s one Moulis estate you know, it is likely Chasse-Spleen, today owned by the Foubet family. Vines have been planted here since the 16th century, and today it has an impressive 100 hectares to its name.
