Full, dry white from Ch Teyssier in St-Émilion. Firm and concentrated nose with no obvious sweetness. Tasted just after a good line-up of Graves Blanc and it stood its ground… Spicy. Quite rich. Rather wild. Very painful acidity. Lots of minerals. Good that Jonathan Malthus is giving serious white a go. Maybe a bit acid- exaggerated to be strongly recommendable but chapeau for effort! Very astringent finish at present. Clearly ambitious. (JR)
