Withdrawn nose hints at peach, orange, marzipan and lees. Then sweet and silky in the mouth if a bit youthfully withdrawn today. Comes across as fatter and softer than the Perrieres, conveying an impression of lower acidity. A supple, harmonious, sweetly oaky wine with very good balance but a bit less mineral thrust than the Perrieres.

Cool but expressive aromas and flavors of lime, crushed stone, menthol and mint. Suave and silky but with noteworthy energy and grip. Shows a distinctly glyceral quality but also an enticing sappiness thanks to ripe, harmonious acidity. Very shapely wine.
