Tasting notes
Pure, reticent aromas of pear, minerals and spices. Very suave on entry, then silky and vibrant in the middle, with pure, lively flavors of peach and crushed stone. Highly concentrated and tactile but with no rough edges. This spreads out insidiously, offering outstanding palate coverage. Lovely mineral-driven wine with a dry, classic, very long finish. Masculine but not hard.

Peach and nut oils on the nose. Fat, full and sweet; atypically open and fruity today, perhaps owing to the early malo. But this silky wine also boasts solid underlying minerality and lovely ripe acidity. Carillon believes there's plenty of structure here and is convinced the wine will close down once it's moved to cuve
