Tasting notes
Some citrus notes along with the spice and black fruit. Again a little spirity. Dry and firm and quite restrained on the palate. Persistent though not very vibrant. (JH)

This big, chunky, fleshy St.-Emilion reveals plenty of black currant and cherry fruit along with notions of cedar, licorice, and smoke. Although slightly monolithic, it is well-endowed, and if more charm and finesse emerge, it may be even better than my note suggests. Enjoy it over the next 10-12 years.
Very simple raw fruit and ever raw-er tannins. Extremely hard work. (JR)
