Score 88/100 · Drink 1997-2007, Robert Parker, Feb 1997
This medium to full-bodied wine reveals the tell-tale oaky veneer that is so much a part of the wines made by the Becot family. There is also plenty of rich, low acid fruit, as well as a chewy texture, good purity and ripeness, and glycerin in the muscular yet silky finish. Drink it over the next decade.
