The medium to dark-colored 1999 Chambolle-Musigny Les Beaux-Bruns has compelling blackberry aromas. This gorgeously refined, medium-bodied wine has outstanding blackberry, juicy blueberry, and black cherry flavors in its well-structured, pure, juicy, and exceptionally long-finishing character. Projected maturity: 2003-2009. Importer: Neal Rosenthal Wine Merchant, New York, NY; tel. (800) 910-1990.

Red-ruby. Scented aromas of crushed raspberry and violet. Sweet, pliant and fairly deep, if not exactly fat. Firm acidity gives the flavors very good delineation and grip. Finishes with supple tannins and very good length. A floral scent remained behind in the empty glass.
