Good medium red. Perfumed, ripe aromas of red cherry and smoked meat, accented by menthol. Sweet, spicy and fine-grained, with a dominant flavor of dark cherry. Finishes with supple, firm tannins.

Good deep red. Blackberry and licorice aromas. Supple and rather elegantly styled, with ripe dark berry flavors nicely framed by sweet tannins. Quite pliant for the vintage, and long on the aftertaste. Showing well.
