Vivid ruby. High-pitched aromas of red berries and cherry, with sexy floral and spice notes and a touch of smoky minerals. Taut and sharply focused, with slow-building sweetness to its raspberry and cherry flavors. Tangy red fruit qualities linger on the racy, slightly rigid finish.

Bright ruby. Pure aromas of bitter cherry, raspberry and flowers. Rather suave on entry, then tangy in the middle, with a subtly perfumed quality to the red fruit and floral flavors. Finishes firm and long, with sweet tannins. A nicely harmonious but slightly tight wine that will work well with lighter meats, like poultry. This wine saw no new oak in this vintage.
