Pale, bright yellow. Hazelnutty nose is aromatic but not yet complex. Vivid on the palate but a bit youthfully clenched, with a juicy quality to the flavors of orange, peach, nuts and spicy oak. Displays an edge of youthful acidity but opened nicely with aeration, showing a captivating tangerine quality. Finishes nicely dry, with palate-dusting persistence. A rather backward wine in the context of this collection.

Reticent nose suggests crystallized lemon peel; smells less fat than the Poruzots. Then sweet but bright, with sound acidity giving shape to the thoroughly ripe flavors of orange, tangerine and candied lemon peel. Quite full in the mouth and long on the aftertaste.
